As a playwright, I love to share my scripts with theatre companies that are just starting out or doing good in the community.
But I have been donating scripts for so long, when is a theatre going to offer me compensation for my work? (Other than the elementary school that dropped my contract because they didn't like INTO THE D as much as the superintendant and the rest of the parents did).
The review for COFFEEHOUSE BOOS was so kind and I would love to have a show at the Ringwald. I had a late night show at Planet Ant and got a fair review, but no compensation.
That's the next step in my career as a writer, isn't it?
When's Boxfest going to offer scholarships for writers, too?
